Franklin TN Christmas Parade 2002

The Tennessee Donkey ASSociation proudly marched in the 2002 Franklin Christmas
Parade. We were knocked
out by the enthusiasm of the crowd and by the beautiful Town Square. As
the donkeys entered the most crowded
part of the parade route you could hear the parade-goers cheering loudly for the
donkeys.
Lydia Spears rallied for the cause and let a baby donkey ride in the back
of her brand new truck when the donkey's
momma sat down and refused to march. Dwayne Smith had a ring-side
parade seat for awhile with the sitting donkey
but was able to smile about it a little later :)
We hope to be able to go back next year with a bigger crowd of donkeys and donkey owners.
