Gumbo and June Bug's Great Adventure
(AKA Shelbyville, TN Great Celebration Mule and Donkey Show 2003)
June Bug, Marianne, Gumbo, and Dwayne
June Bug and Gumbo, both yearling Miniature Donkeys, had a great adventure
recently.
They
trailered to Shelbyville, TN for the Great Celebration Mule and Donkey Show,
which was
held
Fourth of July weekend.
While these
donkeys both had previous exhibition and parade
experience, this was their first
show experience. They handled all their new
experiences quite
well, although they weren't sure at all why the mule stabled next to them
carried on like a
Tazmanian Devil at all hours of the day and night!!! Nor
did they understand why they had to
stay in a stall and miss their many daily
dust baths!
And where did all those giant gaited mules
come from
anyway? When it was time to
go home, they happily
jumped back into the trailer.
